The mission of Coldspring Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District is to educate and equip all learners with knowledge, skills, critical thinking and experiences to be successful in life.

Advanced Academics Mission Statement

The Advanced Academic Services Program is designed to provide a curriculum  that will enable students to use higher level thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. The program will also assist gifted and talented students to understand and respect their special abilities and better cope with others in society. COCISD students in the Advanced Academics Services will be encouraged to develop critical thinking, leadership skills and effective communication.  COCISD Advanced Academics students will be held to high standards and they will be expected to rise to those expectations.
