Lincoln Junior High is growing a Cross Country superstar! LJH 7th grader Brennen Lilley has been stacking up the medals in cross country this 2022 season. "At Brennan's first meet on semi-flat ground in Vidor he ran his two miles in 13.27 minutes, scoring 6th place against 1A-4A teams," said Cross Country Coach Mary Trimmer. "Recently on a blazing hot sunny day and a hilly course at Anderson-Shiro, he placed 2nd with a time of 14.09 minutes." With only two more meets left to the season, Brennan's cross country coach, teammates, family, and fans are looking forward to seeing what he can do back at Anderson-Shiro for the district meet coming up on Oct. 12. "Brennen is not only a phenomenal athlete, he supports his fellow team members and is always helping with anything that needs to be done at practice or meets," said Trimmer. "He is a true athlete and inspiration!"
