FAC Recommendation
At the Facilities & Finance Assessment Committee for Trojan Students (FFACTS) meeting, held December 11, 2023 in the high school foyer, the Committee was presented cost estimates by McKinley-Golden Associates to complete work at Jones and renovation at other campuses around the COCISD.
FFACTS Members elected Ashney Shelly as the Committee Chair and Jeremy Coker was elected as the Committee Vice-Chair.
FFACTS recommends that the district (1) reconstruct the facilities at Jones Educational Complex and (2) make needed improvements at other campuses pertaining to instruction and operations (no funds allocated for secondary athletic facilities).
This would consist of the following changes:

Elementary PK, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd would move to the current Intermediate

Intermediate (3rd, 4th, 5th, possibly 6th) would move to Jones Educational Complex

Consolidate Maintenance, Technology, Food Service, and DAEP at the back of the elementary (west end) and use the auxiliary gym as the warehouse
