Hello and welcome to 1^st grade! I am excited to be here at James Street Elementary and am looking forward to an exceptional year with your student. This is my first year teaching and I am honored to be working with such dedicated professionals at the best school in the best school district.  I am personally committed to achieving excellence in our classroom and am looking forward to a fun and rewarding year, and seeing outstanding results from all of my students.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from the University of Houston Downtown, and I have three children and five beautiful grandchildren. I am an avid gardener and enjoy hunting and fishing and spending time with my family.
