WELCOME TO AP US HISTORY AND US HISTORY

My name is Mr. Gollihugh and I was born and raised in Lubbock, TX. I have four children ranging from 32 to 20 and two grand children, 11 and 6. I attended Texas Tech University, Wayland Baptist University and University of Houston Clear Lake with a BA in History, Master of Education and a Master of History. I began teaching in 2002 and I have been a classroom teacher, Dual Credit Coordinator, College and Career Director, Assistant Principal, and Principal. I am excited to be back in the classroom and to be teaching AP US History and US History. Besides my family, history is my passion. I also enjoy sports, cooking, and traveling. I have a supportaive wife that loves hearing about history as much as I love to talk about it. I look forward to getting to know everyone of you and looking forward to a great year.
