My name is Jennifer O'Connell.  I teach 5th grade math and social studies. I have 4 cats (I had the mom and couldn't seperate her from her boys), like coffee, love the outdoors, and enjoy crafting and woodworking.

I graduated with my teaching degree from Sam Houston State University in 2013.  I love being in the classroom with students.  I like teaching what I know both academically and socially.  My students keep me young by challenging me in the way of words and energy, and I try to challenge them back in the same ways.  I have four children of my own ages 10 to 25.  

I'm excited to get the year started.  Let the learning begin!!!!
