Welcome to Coldspring-Oakhurst High School. I am both the English III and AP Language and Composition teacher. I am beginning my seventeenth year in the district, and I can't wait to get started. 

My tutorial times are 7:05-7:35 and 3:35-4:15 with the exclusion of Wednesdays.

I am a graduate of SHSU and have taught all of my sixteen years of education in this district. I have taught every section of English from 8th through Eng IV. I love this community and its people who have become extended family to me over the years. I do come from a large family with many educators. I grew up surrounded by many kids of different abilities, ethnicities, and needs.

I have been married for 20 years and we have two teenage sons who grew up in Coldspring schools but have transferred closer to our home to make high school extracurriculars more manageable. Both of my boys loved growing up in a small district where everyone knew their momma
