I am the instructor for the Education and Training (ET) Program of Study, featuring the Early Learning Program (ELP).  

Welcome to our COHS Early Learning Program!

  • The Education and Training (ET) Program of Study, features the Early Learning Program (ELP).  The included courses in the ET pathway include

    📚 Principles of Education and Training (PET),

    👶🏿 Child Development (CD),

    👫🏿 Child Guidance (CG), and

    👨🏿‍🏫  The related Practicum Internships. 

     

    After successfully completing the ELP, participating students will earn their Educator Aide I certification for the Texas Education Agency. 

     

    Furthermore, interested students may pursue their Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. 

     

    Possible future careers include educators, librarians, counselors, therapists, and education administrators.

     

    The student service organization for my program is Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA).
