Welcome to Fine Arts at COCISD!

A well-rounded education includes performing and visual arts (Fine Arts), which include visual arts, music, dance and theater. The arts encourage creativity, innovation, and self-confidence - essential skills for the modern workforce. Fine Arts in education help students develop creative problem-solving skills, motor skills, language and social skills. It can present complex concepts in a way that students understand and can reach students who may not otherwise be engaged in classwork. It can provide an emotional outlet for difficult feelings and teach students coping skills through artistic expression.
