Business Office Mission
The Mission of the Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District ("COCISD") Business Office is to provide support to all District students, staff, parents, and the Community and to ensure that all business operations are supportive of the instructional goals and objectives of the District.
The Business Office’s primary goal is to protect the assets of the District and to ensure that all financial transactions are performed in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles; the attainment of the campus performance objectives (academic excellence indicators) and alignment with all Federal and State guidelines.
Business Office Responsibilities
The Business Office is responsible for managing the District’s budget and investments and the daily transactions of the District including banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, employee payroll, and financial reporting.
