Business Office Mission

The mission of the Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District (COCISD) Business Office is to provide exceptional support to the District’s students, staff, parents, and community. We are committed to ensuring that all business operations support the District’s instructional goals and objectives.

Our primary goal is to safeguard the District’s assets and ensure that all financial transactions comply with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable federal and state requirements. We also work to align financial operations and resources with campus performance objectives and the District’s commitment to academic excellence.

Business Office Responsibilites

The Business Office oversees the District’s budget, investments, and daily financial operations. Its responsibilities include:

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Purchasing
• Employee payroll
• Financial reporting
