Basketball Playoffs: Lady Trojans vs. Newton Feb 12

The Lady Trojans have battled their way to the first round basketball playoffs next week. They are set to faceoff against Newton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12th, at the Livingston High School gym.

Playoff T-shirt order forms are available at any campus office, or at the COCISD administration office. The shirts are short-sleeved and available in Youth L-Adult 4XL for $20 each. For information call 936-653-1115

Coldspring-Oakhurst High School hosts Area 6 Robotics Contest

Coldspring-Oakhurst High School was proud to host this year’s Area 6 Robotics Contest on Saturday, Jan. 13. More than 50 students from seven school districts came together to put their problem-solving and robotics abilities to the test. Student teams competed in two divisions: Intermediate (4th through 8th grade), or Advanced (9th through 12th grade).

Gifted & Talented nominations are being accepted

Advanced Academic Services, Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD’s program for Gifted and Talented students, is currently accepting nominations for Kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year and grades 1-11 for the 2018-2019 school year. Nominations will be accepted for all students who are currently in Kindergarten through Eleventh grade. Advanced Academic Services is designed to meet the special needs of gifted students by using a differentiated curriculum using a process-oriented approach.
