The Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD Education Foundation (COEF) is a philanthropic non-profit organization dedicated to partnering with the community to provide opportunities to enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize innovation to promote excellence in education for all COCISD students.
Formed by a group of caring and committed citizens in 2011 with a vision to enhance educational opportunities and student success in COCISD. The foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors composed of business, community, and educational leaders. Since its inception, the COEF has awarded over $300,000 in grants to COCISD teachers, departments and campuses, including a book vending machine for James Street Elementary, technology equipment for all campuses, and materials for innovative classroom projects that would not have otherwise been funded.

General Donation
When you choose to partner with us, 100% of the funds go directly to impact student learning at COCISD. Fall grants are awarded each year for innovative classroom projects, academic department initiatives and unique campus programs that would be funded through traditional means.
Designated Donation
Do you have a passion for literature, the performing arts, construction, or health science? Support the projects close to your heart by donating funds specifically dedicated to the subject, classroom or department you would choose. Previous donors have given dedicated gifts to our Building Trades program and Theater Arts program, providing opportunities that would not have been possible without them.
Honoring the Memory of Alumni, Educators, Friends & Family
Making a difference in COCISD with a Gift in Memory is a wonderful way to pay tribute to an individual who has made a difference in your life. When an endowed gift is made, the individual’s name is recognized on our website as a lasting tribute.
