Our Area
Coldspring-Oakhurst Consolidated Independent School District (COCISD) is located in Coldspring, Texas, the county seat of San Jacinto County. Coldspring is in the heart of the Sam Houston National Forest, on the southwest shore of the 90,000 acre Lake Livingston. COCISD covers an area of 416 square miles and serves approximately 1,500 students from early childhood through 12th grade.

Sam Houston National Forest
COCISD is located in the heart of the Sam Houston National Forest, one of only four national forests in Texas. It covers over 163,000 acres, with land in three counties.
