    In order to be successful in Dance, one must practice habits that are conductive to learning.

    PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

    ASSIGNED DANCE PRACTICE AREA POSITIONS

    *Every dancer will have a specific space for movement (barre, center and across the floor.

    Lines will rotate every week.

    BEHAVIOR FOR ENTERING CLASS

    * Students will have 5 minutes to dress after the tardy bell (door will be locked).

    *Students will begin warm-ups by walking the gym for 5 minutes.

    BEHAVIOR AND LEAVING CLASS

    *Students will have 5 minutes to re-dress.

    *Reflection of the Lesson

    *Dismissed by the teacher and not the bell

    HOME COMMUNICATION

    *Conference period (8th period) will be used for contacting parents.

    *CLASSROOM PROCEDURES

                               Enter and get dressed-attendance taken-walk and report to warm-up area-Class planned activity or track-get dressed-Reflections-Teacher Release
