Red Ribbon Week

  • Red Ribbon Week started in 1985 to honor DEA agent Enrique Camarena who lost his life in the line of duty.  Today Red Ribbon Week has grown into a national observance time for schools across the nation to come together to fight against drugs.  Children of parents who talk to their children regularly about drugs are 43% less likely to use drugs than those who don't.
