SOMEBBODY NEEDS YOU!
"On your worst day on the job, you are still some child's best hope." Larry Bell
Hey, everyone! My name is Shontay Love-Williams and this is my seventeenth year in education and fourteenth year teaching at Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD. I teach 6th grade ELAR and also Math RTI. I am a 1995 graduate of Jones High School and I'm thrilled to be teaching so close to home again. I am very excited to get started this year. Let's make it a great one!
In my free time I enjoy reading, trailriding, and attending my church. I also am a reality TV junkie (Married to Medicine, Married at First Sight, 90 Days and Married, and Love It or List It are my go-to shows)! In addition, I spend a lot of time with my family. They are my world, and their love and support has gotten me to where I am today.
I have been involved in teaching since an early age, but it was not until I worked at TDCJ and CPS that I realized it was my true passion and what I am meant to do. I have found that there is nothing quite so rewarding as being able to help scholars realized their full potential at whatever it is they choose to do. I hope that I can instill and inspire a life-long appreciation for learning in my scholars and guide them in their journey to becoming their very best.
