School Health Advisory Council - (S.H.A.C.)

What is S.H.A.C:
S.H.A.C.(School Health Advisory Council) is required by Texas law and consists of a group of individuals who make sure that positive community values are represented in the health programs that a school adopts. This includes both academic and non-academic programs such as cafeteria offerings, party foods, recess periods, school activities, etc. to increase the general health of students. S.H.A.C.'s are taking on expanding roles to help develop and integrate concepts of wellness and healthy living in daily school life. Our S.H.A.C. needs YOU!
