Hey, Parents & Guardians - We want to know what you think!
The Region 6 Education Service Center is working in conjunction with COCISD on a career interest program. We would like input from you regarding career options for your child.
The district is seeking district-wide student and parent/guardian feedback for future CTE program expansion. The career interest data, along with labor market information, will be used to determine the best programs of study to offer our students.
COCISD faculty will use one class period to instruct students on how to complete the career survey platform. Upon completing the career interest survey, students will submit their top 3 career cluster choices via a Google form. Students will have the opportunity to discuss their choices and future plans with their parents by reviewing the Career Investigation Workbook.
The goal of this collaborative effort is to provide a foundational need assessment for future COCISD educational planning and to ultimately better serve our students. We want to make sure we are providing a well-rounded educational experience that includes state of the art Career & Technical Education facilities to prepare students for a successful future.
